About Indie Xmas

Indie Xmas is a seasonal online gift exchange for makers operated by FjordKit Digital (VAT DK32865062). Eligible participants offer digital gifts, receive assigned gifts, and may list their products or projects. Visitors can browse public maker and product pages. Sponsors can purchase a listed Advent or Secret Santa placement when one is available.

Accounts and participation

You sign in through a supported Google or X account. Keep that account secure and provide accurate information. You must be able to enter into these terms under the law that applies to you. We may limit or remove accounts or content that violate these terms or threaten the service or its users.

Participation in the maker exchange is free. To qualify for gift matching, follow the current event instructions and deadlines shown on the site, submit the required gifts and redemption details, and make sure each gift can actually be claimed. Matching, timing, and eligibility depend on the published event rules and available participants. We cannot promise a particular match, recipient, gift value, or uninterrupted access to a third-party gift.

Your gifts, listings, and conduct

You are responsible for what you submit and for honoring each gift as described, including any limits, expiry dates, support, and redemption instructions. You must have the rights needed to share text, images, links, codes, and other material. Do not submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, harmful, or abusive content; spam; malware; or credentials that should remain private.

Public fields, such as your maker profile, product listings, gift descriptions, and sponsor details, may be displayed and shared. Keep codes, private messages, and redemption instructions in the designated private fields. You grant Indie Xmas a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and format the material you submit as needed to operate and promote the service and its public archive. You keep ownership of your material. This license ends when the material is removed from our service, except for lawful records, backups, and copies already shared or indexed elsewhere.

Sponsorship purchases

Sponsorship prices, placement details, and availability are shown before you continue to Stripe checkout. A spot is reserved temporarily and becomes a paid placement only after payment is confirmed. Payment is a one-time charge through Stripe's hosted checkout. The checkout may provide additional payment, tax, receipt, and seller information. Keep a copy of it for your records.

You must have authority to promote the sponsor and provide the offered gift, including enough valid codes or other redemption capacity for the quantity stated. We may reject or remove a sponsorship that violates these terms or cannot be fulfilled. For a payment issue, cancellation, or refund request, contact the operator using the details below and include your order or receipt details. Any mandatory refund, withdrawal, or consumer rights under applicable law continue to apply.

Other makers and websites

Gifts, products, sponsor offers, and linked websites are supplied by their respective makers or sponsors. They are responsible for their own offers, fulfillment, claims, and external sites. Indie Xmas provides the exchange and directory but does not inspect or guarantee every outside offer. Follow the third party's terms and use good judgment before sharing information or redeeming an offer.

Availability and responsibility

We may change, pause, or end features when needed to run a seasonal event, maintain security, or comply with law. We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but occasional errors or interruptions can happen. To the extent permitted by law, Indie Xmas is not responsible for losses caused by third-party products, websites, or users, or by interruptions beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Privacy, changes, and contact

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. Changes do not take away rights that already arose under an earlier purchase or applicable law.
